An operatory is a place where a provider performs the treatments on the patient.
|
Note: There are no account-level settings for Operatories. They are always configured on a location level. |
Perform the steps below to add a new operatory for your office.
- Navigate to System Menu > Practice Settings > Locations.
- Click on the Location.
- Select the Operatory Settings option.
- Click Edit.
- Click + Add Operatory.
- Enter the Operatory Name.
-
- Many practices will add “Op1” or “OpA” as a preface to a provider’s name.
- If you would like to have the operatories appear in a particular order, you can add a number before the name. For example: '1 Dr. A', '2 Dr. B', '3 Hygiene A', etc.
-
- Click Save.
|
Tip: Once you save they will be listed in the schedule alphabetically regardless of the order in which they were added. |
- If you want to remove any operatories, click Delete on the selected operatories.
|
Note: Operatories that have already booked appointment slots cannot be deleted. |
