Short Call Queue

CareStack offers incredible features and convenient workflows to book appointments for patients who request appointments on short notice. 

If you would like a quick list of all your patients added to the Short Call Queue, you can access this from the Dashboard.

Perform the steps below.

• Navigate to Lists > Short Call.

Note: In case you accidentally select the Reschedule Queue instead of the Short Call, users can still navigate to the Short Call Queue by selecting the second tab to the right of the Reschedule Queue on the top left.

• The following window will appear:

• You can directly Book the appointment by clicking on Book Appt.
  • • It will open the Scheduler and the User can Book the appointment in the Scheduler.

On the Short Call Queue, users can make the most of the following capabilities: 

• View upcoming Recall Due Date.

• Extended view for the patient's Phone number.

• Click View Pat. Memo to view and edit a memo.

• Click on Appointment Notes to view them.

• Choose Clear Queue to erase all entries.

• Click Print after applying the desired filters to take a printout.

• Select the desired patient(s) and click Delete. 

• Download the short call list in CSV or PDF format.

• Bulk Text/Email

You can choose a set of patients to send messages in bulk through the Bulk Text or Email feature.

Set a Short Call for a Patient with No Appointment

• Click the +Add Patient tab on the top right.

An Add Patients to Short Call List pop-up will appear.

• Select the desired Patient from the dropdown and also choose the appropriate options from the respective dropdown for the remaining fields, such as Provider, Production Type, and Operatory, as per your requirement.

Note: You will see the Location automatically populated. You can change the location if required. Ensure to input the Preferred Slot and click Save on the bottom right to continue.

Note: A notification will appear on the top right as, 'Shortcall added successfully.' and simultaneously, the entered patient details will appear at the bottom of the Short Call List.
